Job Duties



As a Software Engineer at PayComplete, you will practice your skills within Java Development and building software closely integrated with hardware. You will be involved in the development and maintenance of the user interface as well as the hardware and software interfaces of the devices. Your main focus will be to develop our machine software, and this includes programming everything from the GUI and user flows, down to integrating hardware devices and serial communication. You will also be involved in troubleshooting, upgrading and refactoring existing solutions.



You will work closely with a team of five people, including other developers and the hardware development team.



Education, Experience And Personal Traits

• Relevant bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
• Experience within Java Development
• Unhindered in English and Swedish, writing and speaking
  
  

The following is meritorious

• Knowledge in data serialization formats such as Avro, JSON, and XML.
• Knowledge in Linux, C/C++, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Subversion, Git, Jira, Bitbucket.

You should also be driven and fearless in driving your work forward in an independent manner. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
