Role Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated AI Engineer to join our team responsible for building and evolving our software development toolchain platform. The ideal candidate will leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to enhance developer productivity, improve automation, and create smarter workflows within our software engineering ecosystem.
This role will focus on integrating AI into the developer experience, optimizing pipelines, enabling intelligent code insights, and driving innovation in how our teams design, build, and deliver software.
Job Responsibilities
AI-Driven Enhancements: Design, build, and integrate AI-powered features (e.g., code suggestions, automated reviews, test case generation, anomaly detection in pipelines).
Toolchain Integration: Work with CI/CD systems, code repositories, build tools, and developer platforms to embed AI capabilities seamlessly.
Data Engineering for AI: Collect, clean, and prepare data from development workflows (commits, builds, tests, deployments, logs) for model training and inference.
Model Development: Train, fine-tune, and deploy ML/LLM models that improve efficiency, quality, and developer experience.
Platform Engineering: Collaborate with platform and DevOps engineers to ensure scalability, reliability, and security of AI-enabled services.
Research & Innovation: Stay up to date with AI/ML advancements and propose innovative applications for the developer ecosystem.
Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, DevOps, product managers, and architects to identify opportunities where AI can add value.
Who You Are
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML, or related field.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
- Experience with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and fine-tuning techniques.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- AI in Developer Tools: Understanding of how AI can enhance IDEs, code quality, testing, and release processes.
- Data Handling: Experience with data pipelines, feature engineering, and working with structured/unstructured datasets.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services.
- Background in developer productivity, DevOps, or platform engineering.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, curiosity, collaboration skills, and a drive for innovation.
- Contributions to open-source AI/DevOps projects.
- Experience in building developer productivity tools.
- Knowledge of LLMOps/MLOps practices and tools.
- Understanding of security and compliance for AI-enabled developer platforms.
