Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

Job Summary: We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer with a strong background in Yocto and Linux to join our dynamic team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing high-performance embedded systems, leading product development projects, and driving innovation in our solutions. If you are passionate about embedded systems and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize embedded systems using Yocto/Linux as the core technology.
Lead product development projects from initial concept through to final product delivery.
Utilize your expertise in C/C++ and potentially Rust to enhance embedded applications.
Improve and maintain CI/CD processes to ensure efficient production workflows.
Develop and refine systems for production testing to guarantee product quality.

Essential Qualifications:
Extensive experience with Yocto and Linux in embedded systems development.
Strong background in product development for embedded systems.
Proficiency in C/C++, with additional experience in Rust considered a plus.
Familiarity with production testing and CI/CD environments.
Fluency in both Swedish and English.
