Think of a team were everyone in it has these things in common; We all have a passion for product development, and we share the love of technical challenges. Besides this, problem solving makes us jump out of bed in the morning and we love to come up with the solutions together. We are a team with mixed and broad experiences and competences who develop Linux based software forAxis Audio products We work with technologies such as digital sound processing, audio quality, audio streaming, two-way communication, among other. Our code is mainly written in C but we also use other languages such as Rust, Lua and Python. We also work with open-source components and standards such as GStreamer and PipeWire. What will you do hereWe are looking for someone to join our development team that is working with our audio platform. Your tasks would include

• Being part of designing and writing software for features in our products
• Troubleshooting and solving issues wherever they are, from own applications to open-source components
• Collaborating with other teams within Axis

 As Embedded Software Engineer at Axis you will play an essential part in the development of our new products. Who you are

Working knowledge of C and Embedded Linux. It would also be good but not mandatory to have
Knowledge about:

• Interest in Audio
• Interest in loudspeakers
• Agile development methodologies
• Have worked in a Linux environment
• GStreamer, PipeWire , ALSA and audio codecs
• Experience in Git, Yocto/BitBake
• Understanding of network programming and related protocols such as TCP/IP, RTP, HTTP and WebSocket.
