In this role, you will:Develop and maintain backend logic and server APIs used by our frontend applicationsWork with a modern tech stack including event-driven architecture (Apache Kafka) and reactive programming (Spring WebFlux)Build reusable code and common libraries for future useCollaborate closely with the backend team to continuously improve quality and performanceParticipate in and contribute to technical discussions and solution designYou will be successful in this role if you:Have strong experience with Java 17+, Spring, SQL, Docker, and KubernetesHave previous experience working with databases and deployment proceduresHave a solid understanding of web application security (OWASP, OAuth2)Have a good grasp of how technologies fit together in a larger ecosystemHave hands-on experience in production environments serving real usersCan work independently on well-defined tasks and suggest technical improvementsHave strong debugging and problem-solving skillsHave fluent written and spoken EnglishIts a plus if you also have:Experience integrating with third-party providers such as payment or game providersExperience working with AWS or GCP servicesWhy join IGS?At IGS you are not recruited to work for us you are hired to work with us.
