Our users fly everything from Microsoft Flight Simulator to X-Plane. We have a modern tech stack for our main apps based on React and React Native, and also specialized GIS data pipelines and highly performant simulator integrations based on Rust (compiled to WASM) all with a strong focus on usability and modern design. What Were Looking For!
We need someone with experience across the full stack who loves solving challenges and writing clean, efficient code.
Required Skills
- Proven record of building and maintaining robust software
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and relational databases
- Experience with backend and frontend development
- Experience with managing cloud infrastructure - preferably AWS
- Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for details
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Bonus Skills
- Passion for flight simulation and aviation
- Experience with flight simulator avionics
- Experience with React
- Experience with Rust or C++
- Experience with Electron and/or Tauri
- Previous experience with DevOps
- Understanding of principles in navigation and geography
What You Could Be Doing!
- Develop and maintain the frontends and backends of our products, both web and desktop-based
- Shape the infrastructure and CI/CD processes around our projects
- Work with our extensive cloud-native processing pipelines, optimizing and improving our workflows
- Work with high-volume, real-time flight data streams, supporting detailed visualisation and analysis
- Develop and maintain flight simulator integrations, often as part of research-focused projects that aim to bridge the gap to the real world
- Develop and maintain APIs that provide 3rd parties and in-house applications with valuable navigation datasets
- Ensure that Navigraph remains top-of-mind for new and well-established simulator add-on developers through innovations in developer experience and first-class direct developer support
