We are looking for an Embedded Software Developer to join one of our software teams. Are you curious by nature, passionate about technology, and excited about low-level C/C++ programming? Do you enjoy collaborating, innovating, and taking ownership? If so, wed love to hear from you!

ABOUT THE ROLE

Youll become part of one of our highly skilled and collaborative software teams developing software for world-leading industrial network products.

Industrial applications depend on the performance of their networks. Thats why our software must meet demanding standards for fast data transfer, low latency, and high reliability. Security and protection are just as important.
This is what we know today - and now we are moving into an exciting phase where we continue shaping the future of industrial automation and are building a new platform for the future.

Key responsibilities and tasks:

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for industrial communication products.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to define software requirements and deliver scalable, future-ready solutions.
• Explore new technologies and contribute to innovation initiatives.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Work with automated and continuous testing systems.
• Perform validation tests to maintain high reliability and conformity standards.

We have a prestige-free working environment, where everyone wants to share their knowledge and help each other. While we enjoy working together at our Halmstad office, youll also have the option to work remotely a couple of days a week.

ABOUT YOU

You are a curious and continuous learner and you thrive on solving problems. You enjoy working in a team environment, contributing to group discussions, and collaborating across departments to drive forward and achieve common goals. Your structured approach to development will help ensure that projects are delivered on time without sacrificing quality.

We assume that you have previous experience with embedded C/C++ coding, since it will be part of your daily work. Knowledge about industrial protocols and hardware is meritorious. Whether youre early in your career or a seasoned professional, were eager to meet candidates who share our passion for technology and continuous learning.

Skills and experience:

• Experience in embedded C/C++
• Python knowledge

Its a plus if you have worked with:

• Development or testing of physical products
• Industrial networks (e.g., EthernetIP, PROFINET, EtherCAT)
• Jenkins
• Git
• TLS
• TCP/IP
